The Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS) BES-YT0907A-01 is a leading edge acoustic safety technology solution that was developed to increase pedestrian awareness of electric and hybrid vehicles. As EVs have extremely low noise emission at low speed, they have potential risk to pedestrians, cyclists and other road users who may not perceive their approach. The BES-YT0907A-01 generates a precise, directional and extremely identifiable warning sound able to fill the gap left by the fact that (electric) drivetrains generate no sound, allowing for safer streets and better mobility environments in cities.
Engineered with high environmental resistance system, it completes to IP67 protection and full dust, rain, road debris, high-pressure water exposure and good resistance of outdoor protection. This scale of protection ensures reliability over time, stable sound output and operations over changing climates. BES-YT0907A-01 is designed to meet China's national AVAS standards (GB/T 37153) to ensure that its frequency range, sound pressure level and noise characteristics are in full accord with the regulatory standards of electric vehicles that move on low speed.
The system is compact, light and has very high durability ensuring seamless integration to various platforms such as electric vehicles, low-speed neighborhood vehicles, e-bikes, delivery robots, and small autonomous mobility equipment.
